Pre-Employment Testing
NPA members can implement tests required as a part of the employee screening process.
NPA members are able to facilitate many forms of pre-employment testing. Local, regional, and national laws govern the acceptability of such tests in many instances. The employer is responsible for the legality of each test used in the completion of their employment process. NPA members can implement those tests that are required as a part of the employee-screening process. Some examples of pre-employment testing facilitated by NPA members include the following:
- Personality testing
- Psychological testing
- Cognitive ability testing
- Physical ability testing
- Work sample testing
- Self assessments
- Memory testing
- Vocabulary testing
- Information processing testing
