NPA, The Worldwide Recruiting Network with global headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA has entered into a strategic alliance with TEAM - The Employment Agency Movement, based in the UK. Both organizations are engaged in the business of facilitating networking between their member firms offering independent recruiting, executive search and temporary staffing. The alliance has been formed to increase global business opportunities for the cumulative membership. Clients and candidates represented by these two networks will benefit from the worldwide connections and boundary-breaking reach that will be available from the combined networks of TEAM and NPA. NPA and Main Sequence launch new web platform to benefit NPA members worldwide

NPA, The Worldwide Recruiting Network (www.npaworldwide.com), is pleased to announce the launch of an entirely new generation of SplitZone, its online platform for NPA members to transact shared recruiting business in a secure, reliable, and repeatable way.      

SplitZone leverages NPA’s experience with earlier technology and the expertise of Main Sequence (www.mainsequence.net) in building and hosting enterprise recruitment transaction platforms. The design process for the latest SplitZone included careful consultation with key contributors throughout the NPA network, third-party technology consultants, and Main Sequence.
  
“NPA’s goal is to provide a state-of-the-art system that is more usable to all of our members, and can help attract new members interested in split-fee recruiting”, said NPA President Dave Nerz. “This new SplitZone is better in so many ways, it really is a compelling value-add for our current and prospective members.”  

VP Marketing at Main Sequence, William (Bill) Kubicek IV added, “From time to time opportunities come along to do custom or semi-custom projects that meet the strategic needs of key customers. Nancy Neumann of Hong Kong Executive Search Receives 2009 NPA Chairman’s Award

Nancy Neumann, owner of Hong Kong Executive Search, has been honored as the recipient of the 2009 Chairman’s Award from NPA, The Worldwide Recruiting Network. The Chairman’s Award is given annually to a single recipient in recognition of extraordinary service and commitment to the organization. NPA (www.npaworldwide.com) is a member-owned network of premier independent recruiting firms located on six continents.

Ms. Neumann served two terms as a member of the NPA Board of Directors where she was primarily responsible for membership growth in Asia as well as spearheading NPA marketing and branding initiatives. NPA Announces International Split Placement Data

NPA, The Worldwide Recruiting Network reports that placements completed in 2008 involved an international cross-border connection between recruiters based in different countries 11% of the time. Of the total placements completed, 8% involved a candidate move from one country to another. NPA tracks relocation and other data for all placements reported by its 425 member firms. NPA president Dave Nerz in Grand Rapids, MI noted, “Employers are finding a need for talent on a global basis. Many needs are best filled by outside candidates and the best fit candidates may need to be moved to new locations and countries. These types of placements are more challenging for both candidate and employer and require the efforts of professional recruiters to locate and secure commitment for such major relocations.” Continue Reading »

NPA, The Worldwide Recruiting Network reports overall growth for 2008!

NPA, The Worldwide Recruiting Network reports modest growth in placement activity for 2008. Increases were seen in both the number of placements as well as fee revenue shared by NPA members. NPA members participated in 571 placements, a 2% increase over 2007. Fee revenue also increased by 2% to US$10.2 million dollars. “Even with the economic slowdown, employers need to fill their critical roles, and the marketplace still shows signs of a talent shortage in many skilled occupations,” commented NPA president Dave Nerz.
