NPA Meetings and Events
NPA provides diverse opportunities for leadership, interaction, and professional development.
NPA members interact with each other in a variety of venues, providing many opportunities for leadership, interaction, and professional development.
Annual Meeting. NPA owners gather at the annual meeting to elect officers and directors, vote on policy changes, and conduct other official business. The annual meeting typically consists of two half-day sessions, and includes both owner-focused content and informal networking opportunities. Beginning in 2008, NPA will combine the annual meeting and production meetings in a single annual conference.
Production Meeting. Held annually, the production meeting is the largest event in NPA’s meeting calendar. Several hundred consultants gather for educational sessions, SpecialtyNet breakouts, industry speakers, networking, and more. The production meeting is designed for desk-level consultants of all levels. Beginning in 2008, the production meeting and annual meeting will be combined into a single annual conference.
Regional Meetings. Beginning in 2007, each of NPA’s eight membership regions will have annual meetings. These programs are designed to facilitate networking among members in similar geographic areas without regard to industry or occupational specialty. Meetings are reasonably priced and held in a variety of locations convenient to NPA consultants.
City Meetings. These informal gatherings are organized, hosted, and executed by local members to facilitate rapid sharing of job orders and candidates.
